The GN Compact Solids Removal Unit (SRU) is a drilling fluid solids control system for small mining rigs. Instead of traditional drilling sumps, the GN SRU is a closed-loop system that reduces environmental impact and improves drilling efficiency.
Last week GN has sold a Diamond Drilling Solids Removal Unit to a South Africa Client, which is including a tank, centrifugal pump, mud hopper, shaker and centrifuge.
Tank: The tank is used to store the drilling fluid. It is made of a durable material that can withstand the harsh conditions of diamond drilling.
Centrifugal pump(GNSB 3x2C-9J): The centrifugal pump is used to circulate the drilling fluid through the unit. It is a model with the smallest capacity of all centrifugal pumps that can move enough volumes of fluid quickly.
Mud hopper: The mud hopper is used to add materials for the drilling fluid and make new mud. It is a large container that can hold a significant amount of solids.
Shaker (GNZS752): This shaker is used to remove large particles from the drilling fluid. It is a mechanical equiment that uses vibrating motors to separate the solids from the fluid.
Centrifuge(GNLW224): This is a smaller centrifuge is used to remove fine particles from the drilling fluid. It is a high-speed device that uses centrifugal force to separate the solids from the fluid.
