GN Solids Control for Oil Sands in Canada

GN Solids Control Co. has developed many different types of solids control equipments that can be used on oil and gas industry. And GN is a very large company who can provide turn-key solids control or waste management systems for global clients.
As we all know, the oil in Canada is mainly exists in oil sands which is also called tar sands. According to the latest survey, more than 98 percent of the oil sands and conventional oil are in Alberta. If we just considering the oil reserves, then Canada would be the third largest oil country.

For conventional oil, there about 39 percent in Alberta, we have already known that explore and produce oil from this conventional energy. GN has provided many sets of turn-key solids control systems for world clients. Until now, COSL has used four sets of GN 1000 GPM solids control system. And GN has also provided four sets of 1000 GPM mud recycling system for Russia client.
So for this conventional oil, GN has a large room to cooperating with drilling company from Canada. And for the oil sands, depends on the exploring and producing processes, GN Solids Control can provide different equipments.
There are two ways to explore the oil sands:
1. The first way is using excavators, the surface oil sands can be can be dig and transferred to a truck, and transported to a treating and refinery factory. This cost of this way is relatively low, but the damage to lands is very large.
2. The second method is called “SAGD”, which means steam assisted gravity drainage. The other processes are quite the same as explore the conventional oil.
GN Solids Control equipments and drilling waste management systems can help to get the bitumen and protect the environment at the same time. Many solids control equipments such as decanter centrifuge, cutting dryer can be provided by us. And we also have mini decanter centrifuge, which is especially suitable for core drilling or diamond drilling.
