GN Solid Control has recently designed and delivered a modular hydrovac slurry dewatering system for an overseas client, providing an
efficient and reliable solution for construction slurry, drilling mud, and industrial wastewater treatment. This advanced system integrates
five core modules—coarse screening, fine screening, desanding & desilting, centrifugation, and chemical dosing—ensuring optimal
solid-liquid separation and environmental compliance.
Key System Modules
1. Coarse Screening Module – GNLMP-1536
The GN GNLMP-1536 mining coarse screen utilizes advanced screening technology to efficiently remove large particles from construction slurry.
With high screening efficiency and large processing capacity, this module serves as the first step in slurry pretreatment, preparing the material
for further fine separation.
2. Double-Layer Fine Screening Module Shale Shaker – GNZS596K
The GNZS596K double-deck shale shaker is widely used in piling, tunneling, oil & gas drilling, and industrial separation processes,offering a
maximum processing capacity of 140 m³/h (616 GPM). Its dual-layer screening design enhances separation accuracy,ensuring finer solids
removal.
3. Desander & Desilter Module – GNZJ594J-8N
The GN mud cleaner combines a desander cyclone, desilter cyclone, and bottom shaker into a compact yet powerful unit. It serves as an ideal
secondary and tertiary solids control solution for drilling fluids, effectively removing fine particles and improving fluid cleanliness.
4. Decanter Centrifuge Module – GNLW553D-VFD
The GNLW553D-VFD is a 22-inch large-bowl decanter centrifuge featuring a full variable frequency drive (VFD) system (ABB/Siemens inverter).
Its intelligent control system automatically adjusts feed rate, bowl speed, and differential speed for optimal dewatering performance. With a
3.3:1 or 4.2:1 length-to-diameter ratio, this centrifuge is ideal for high-capacity slurry treatment across various applications.
5. 20ft Chemical Dosing & Flocculation Module
The GN automatic chemical preparation and dosing unit provides fully automated polymer mixing, storage, and injection, ensuring precise
flocculant concentration for enhanced dewatering. Compatible with decanters, screw presses, and filter presses, this system is widely used
in wastewater treatment for petroleum, chemical, paper, power, coal, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
