Oil Sludge Treatment System sold to Europe Client

This week, GN arranged the delivery of one set compact design oil sludge treatment system to Client from Europe. The client firstly saw GN oil sludge treatment system at the Beijing CIPPE show this March. After two times factory inspection and business communication, the clients placed order.

This skid mounted system is used to recover the oil from oily sludge coming from various sources like drilling waste cuttings, refinery waste, and oil tank remains etc. It is consisting of chemical dosing, premixing, 2-phase separation and 3-phase separation modules.

For economy purpose, client instructed to replace the automatic polymer dosing system by a simple mixing tank in where client can pour the liquid or powder chemicals for making the chemical solution. The solution will be pumped into the premixing tank for demulsfication to remove the oil from solids. The premixing vessel is equipped with heating line better performance.

A mini shale shaker and a mini decanter centrifuge are the main equipment in the 2-phase separation process. Sludge after a while demulsfication in premixing tank would be transferred to the shaker unit for large size solids removing; liquid with fine solids will be pumped to the decanter centrifuge for fine solids separation. Most of the solids can be removed in this process; the liquid discharged from the decanter centrifuge is consisting of water, oil and little amount of solids all of that will be collected in a buffering tank waiting for 3-phase separation.

In 3-phase separation procedure, a disc type centrifuge is used to separate the oil, water and ultra-fine solids. By using this oil sludge treatment system, the oil could be recovered from the waste so as to the waste discharge would be greatly reduced. This is beneficial for environment protection and also good in obtaining economic profit.

This compact oil sludge treatment system could be used as a pilot unit to prove the oily sludge can be treated by this technology, once the testing result was satisfying; GN is able to provide the system with larger capacity. Actually, the result is proved onsite, and the client also placed an order for 15 cubic meters capacity system in the same time.

Fully Hydraulic Drive Decanter Centrifuge ready for shipment to Middle East

This week, the fabrication of one unit fully hydraulic decanter centrifuge has been completed. This unit decanter centrifuge is ordered by a client from Middle East. Decanter centrifuge is one of GN main products. With more Ten years’ experience, GN has developed a series decanter centrifuges that can be applied in drilling site, industrial waste treatment and other separation projects.

Besides the electrical motor drive centrifuge, the fully hydraulic decanter centrifuge is a well-developed model. Different from the electrical centrifuge, GN fully hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge is working by using a hydraulic pump to feed hydraulic oil to drive the bowl and scroll. Drilling Waste Cuttings Screw Conveyor for Africa Client

Screw conveyor is widely used in oil drilling site for waste material transferring. This week, GN completed the fabrication of a batch screw conveyers ordered by a client from Africa. After the factory delivery inspection, these screw conveyers would be shipped out.

Where the screw conveyor would be positioned on drilling site
1. For drilling waste cuttings collection and transferring. In mud system, the drilling fluids coming out from the well will be feed into the shaker, cyclone and decanter centrifuge step by step. In each state, the drilling cuttings with different size will be discharged out from fore mentioned equipment. The screw conveyor is the ideal equipment to collect all the waste cuttings and make a pit-less mud recycling system. For this purpose, several unit screw conveyor would be installed beside the mud tank and under the separation equipment discharge chute with the top cover open for easy collection.

2. For waste cuttings treatment and transferring. The collected waste cuttings still has large content liquid that can be recovered. According to the position of the cuttings dryer unit, operators can adjust the location of the screw conveyer for feeding the waste cutting into the dryer unit. More drilling fluids would be recover, less waste will be discharged. In the meanwhile, an extra screw conveyer unit can be positioned under the discharge port of the dryer unit so that can transfer the treated cuttings out of the system.

GN screw conveyor is designed to offer an efficient, low cost, cutting transportation system both offshore and onshore drilling installation. Per client’s requirement, the variable frequency motor can be adopted for freely speed control. For safety consideration, the whole body of the screw conveyor is fitted with protective grating or cover to prevent foreign matters entering the conveying system. ViST Vacuum Shale Shaker Screen Technology developed by GN Solids Control

How to recover more fluids from the used drilling mud? All driller are thinking about this question all the time. Now GN released the ViST vacuum shaker screen system that can help to recover more drilling fluids with high efficiency.

 

What is ViST Vacuum Shaker Screen System

As the name implies, the ViST vacuum shaker screen system is including a ViST vacuum unit connecting with a collecting pan that is installed under the last panel shaker screen at the solids discharge port. The pan is like a hopper with an opening at the bottom where connect to the vacuum unit via a hose. When the drilling cuttings pass through the last panel screen, the remaining large quantity fluids on the cutting would be sucked and get through the shaker screen mesh to the pan then to the vacuum unit. At the vacuum unit, the discharge port is connected to a storage tank, the recovered fluids will finally be transferred to the tank.

Benefits in using the ViST Vacuum Shaker Screen System

1. The Vist vacuum shaker screen system is suitable for OBM, WBM and SBM.

Drilling Mud Centrifugal Pump for Venezuela Oilfield Service Company

Recently, GN finished the fabrication of a batch solids control equipment ordered by an oilfield service company from Venezuela. More than 10 units drilling mud centrifugal pump are part of the order and already packed waiting for delivery.
In drilling mud recycling system, the centrifugal pump is a type of very important equipment that is always used for drilling mud transferring. There are several applications of the centrifugal pump as below.

Centrifugal Pump used for feeding to cyclone unit
Normally is the solids control system, de-sander, de-silter andmud cleaner would be used to remove fine solids. Centrifugal pump could be used to suck the mud after treated by the shale shaker, and send to the de-sander and de-silter cyclone. In the meanwhile, the centrifugal pump gives the power or pressure for mud processing in cyclone.

By connecting with mixing hopper and manifold, the centrifugal pump can be used as a mixing pump for adding mud material into the drilling mud. The pump also has shearing function for some polymers.

This week, GN will ship out 9 sets drilling fluids shale shakers ordered by a Shandong client. Shale shaker is one the main products in GN production line. Drilling fluids shale shaker GNZS703F is with treating capacity of 120 cubic meters per hour, and it can be used in normal oil drilling solids control system and larger capacity trenchless drilling mud recycling system. This model is with 3 panelshaker screens and can be upgraded to GNZS706 double layer shale shaker with 6 panel screen for large capacity and both coarse and find solids separation.

Today, GN quality inspectors made the delivery inspection for one batch mud centrifugal pumps and other solids control equipment that would be shipped to a Russia client. GN 1000 GPM Mud Recycling System for Indian Big Trenchless Project

Recently, GN finished the factory delivery inspection of one set 1000 GPM mud recycling system that will be used in India for big trenchless project. In end of April, GN just shipped out 3 sets 600 GPM mud system to an Asian client who has already had 3 sets mud recycling system from GN.

1000 GPM Mud Recycling System is consisting with following equipment

1. Two units of GN double deck shale shaker GNZS706F for primary solid removing. Double deck shaker is with large capacity due to two-layer screen design for both coarse solids and fine solids separation.
2. De-sander unit GNZS703F-2S is with two sets 10 inch cyclone for sand removing. De-silter unit GNZS703F-12N is with 12 sets 10 inch cyclone for silt removing. The under flow shaker is with same dimension shaker screen for client’s easy shaker screen procurement or inventory.
3. Three sets 40 feet containers are used respectively as mud recycling tank, mud storage tank and mud mixing tank. Other equipment like centrifugal pump, agitator, and mixing hopper are installed on tank and shipped without disassembling them.

GN Solids Vacuum Pump Units for Long Distance Mud Transfer Project in Beijing

This week, GN is almost finished the fabrication of 8 units solids vacuum pump what would be used in a long distance mud transfer project in Beijing. Now GN’s engineer is the making the last step of delivery inspection and packing.
In client’s project, it is a long distance from the mud pit to the rig. This brought a problem to client how to transfer plenty of mud to where it would be used. The client didn’t get a good solution till they saw GN vacuum pump at the CIPPE show this March.

GN Solids Vacuum pump is a 100 percent pneumatic driving pump that could be used to transfer high solids content sludge like the oilfield drilling waste cuttings, normal drilling mud in recycling system, vessel remaining sludge etc. The other feature of this type pump is the capability to suck and discharge the sludge from and to faraway place.

The client totally order 8 this vacuum pump from GN, and each 4 of them would be installed together to get a large capacity. Besides the pumps, client also ordered 2 empty containers that would be especially used to pack and mount the pumps. Few people will get the idea to put the pump unit into the container. This installation will bring some benefits. All parts of the pump would be covered and protected. All the pumps are installed in the container neatly for convenient operation onsite. This package term is also good for transportation, client only need one time lifting, then 4 pumps can be loaded on the truck. The vacuum pump need air compressor to work, thus the container is provided with air buffer vessel. All suction and discharging pipe manifold are provided and connected, before running onsite, client only need to connect the quick connectors.
