For final-stage processing and maximum liquid recovery, the package includes two GN Vertical Cuttings Dryers. This robust equipment utilizes high centrifugal force to thoroughly dry drilled solids in oil-based or synthetic-based fluids. Its operational principle is both efficient and durable: a stainless-steel screen bowl rotates at up to 900 RPM, generating a force of 420 G to separate liquids from solids. The liquid is forced through the screen, while the dried solids are conveyed upward by a scroll (angled flights) that rotates slightly slower than the bowl. Critical wear parts, like the scroll flights, are protected with tungsten carbide to withstand abrasive solids, ensuring a long operational life and maintaining the precise gap between the scroll and bowl essential for reliable operation.
