ENVIRONMENTAL & WASTEWATER INDUSTRY COMMON APPLICATION

Municipal wastewater includes industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater. The typical urban wastewater treatment process mainly includes mechanical treatment, biochemical treatment, and sludge treatment.

Recovery of various waste oils, including waste residues and oil-water mixtures at the bottom of oil storage tanks, oil residues and waste oils in oil refineries, grease dirt in sewage tanks, waste oil-water mixtures in ships, API oil-water separation oil sludge treatment, lubricant, and grease produced in industrial lubrication production systems.

Oil sludge mainly includes waste oil sludge from the cleaning of crude oil tanks, waste oil sludge from oil refineries, and oily waste from oil and gas drilling. GN oil sludge hot washing technology can reduce the oil content of sludge, recover useful oil, and recycle hot wash water.

The deposit silt in the river or lake is firstly cleared by the dredging boat, and then dewatered and separated by GN multi-stage separation and conveying equipment. The recovered solid can be used for construction or farmland fertilizer, and the recovered water can flow back to the river or lake.

Sand washing is very important for sand and stone extraction, but sand washing also produces a large amount of polluted wastewater. In many places, separation tools such as decanter centrifuges are used to clean sand and gravel washing water.

GN High G Force Drying shaker is designed for primary solids control and drying the cuttings from the primary solids control equipment, recovering silts, and ultra-fine sands, providing solids in a consistently stackable and conveyable form, and requires no expensive chemicals or polymers. Process of the High G Drying Shaker Operation.

High G Drying Shaker

The drilling cuttings discharged from the primary shale shaker and desander desilters will be picked up by a screw conveyor, and another screw conveyor will take the drilling cuttings to feed to the High G drying shaker. Sometimes, the client will install a low-profile drying shaker just under the solids control tank to feed to the drying shaker directly. The drilling cuttings will be dried by the high G shaker, and fluids will be caught by the tank under the shaker, a centrifuge feed pump will take the fluids and feed them to a high-speed decanter centrifuge, after treatment by the high-speed decanter centrifuge, the fluids can return back the active mud system for reuse

GN SHAKER SCREEN

The purpose of the mud system is to separate the solids from the drilling fluids, although it is true that the Shale Shakers make the equipment vibrate with their motors, the Screen Shakers play an extremely important role when screening the drilling fluids; GN Solids control has managed to develop with high-quality standards with an International format following the norms imposed by the US market, API RP13C or ISO 13501, allowing the manufacture and massive sale of our meshes to the world market, little by little it has been consolidating as a successful option and benefited by the technology offered in its final product.

ASTM Mesh and API Cut Point:

  • ASTM is short for The American Society for Testing and Materials, ASTM E11:01 mesh equals to ISO 3310- 1:2000 mesh. This method determines the cut point of single-layer ASTM screen mesh size. For shaker screen mesh, normally means the surface screen mesh size. Whilst the shaker screen is usually a composition of 2 or 3 layers, the cut point of the first layer’s mesh is not equal to the final shaker screen cut point.
  • API is short for American Petroleum Institute, “API Number” is determined by API RP13C or ISO13501, the cut point is related to the combined 3-layer wire mesh test result. So before ordering, GN will need an API number, or the cut point, to define a more proper shaker screen configuration.

FEATURES OF GNLW SERIES – VFD DECANTER CENTRIFUGE

  • Duplex stainless steel SS2304 and centrifugal casting are used to manufacturing rotating bowl, and shaft for big and small end cap. Duplex stainless steel is stronger and more resistant to abrasion and corrosion. This manufacturing process also avoid intergranular corrosion and incomplete release of stress.
  • Screw blades are manufactured as a whole piece with CNC forming lathe, leading to high accuracy of the blades and higher solids discharge efficiency
  • GN can customize screw with changing pitch for high transfer efficiency and dryer solids
  • Optimized cone and pitch with BD plate to separate dewatering section and settling section, with deeper pond depth, longer dewatering section, dryer solids and clearer water. This also increase throughput speed.

  • Less energy consumption is achieved with bigger pond depth, making decanter centrifuge use less energy. This also reduces turbidity flow of liquid to make separated water clearer, less wear on end blades which makes screw last longer

  • Hydraulic removing mechanism is built into main shaft, which reduced pulling force by 90% when removing main bearings, this helps to ensure the safety of the bearing and high precision parts
  • All the rotating parts are made with high accuracy CNC machine. After that 3 step dynamic balancing is done. One is the balancing of rotating assembly at 1800RPM, balancing at real high speed and the balancing of whole machine to ensure stable operation of the decanter centrifuge at high speed
  • Both motors are placed in one end of the decanter centrifuges for more service space and spill of slurry to impact service life of motors
