Usually, GN can produce from five thousand pieces shale shaker screens to eight thousand pieces shale shaker screens every month, however, considering the large need this manufacturing capacity is not enough. Anyway, on the basis of new factory, GN will solve these problems perfectly well, and GN will introduce many advanced CNC machines to improve the production, as well as hire more experienced workers to working on this special field.

GN Mud Systems are widely used in many areas, recently GN got some orders on water management from abroad.
GN technical engineer recommend one set of mud system whose treating capacity can reach to 150 gpm, and the normal treating capacity can up to 132 gpm.
This is system is including three sub-systems: The first one is mud cleaning system, the second one is Cuttings Feeding system, and the last one is
1.GN Mud cleaning system
This system is composed of one shale shaker whose shaker screen is 100 mesh, one mud cleaner which can separate particle size 15mircrons to 20 microns, one centrifugal pump to feeding the mud cleaner, as well as one mud tank which is divided into two compartments.
By using this subsystem first, the No.1 compartment which is shaker compartment can treat mud by using shale shaker, then it droped into No.1 compartment. On the other side, the mud processed by mud cleaner droped into No.2 compartment, at this time it is clean mud which can be re-used directly. For clients have higher demands, we will recommed to use decanter centrifuge to do another process.
2.GN Cuttings Feeding system
This subsystem is including one Cuttings Collection hopper and one Peristaltic pump. By using the Peristaltic pump, this system can transfer the cuttings from the collection hopper to vertical cuttings dryer. For Peristaltic pump, it’s usually used to transfer drilling mud with large density.
3.GN Cuttings management system

Vertical cuttings dryer, decanter centrifuge and centrifuge pumps, as well as mud tank composed of this sub system. Since this tank are divided into two compartments too, we named it by No.3 compartment and No.4 compartment. After the mud was treated by vertical cuttings dryer, it will flow to No.3 compartment. And the clean mud will go to No.3 compartment from No. 2 compartment. The decanter centrifuge can separate particle size 5 microns, after this the clean mud can be re-used for drilling again.

Now many drilling industries and some other fields are using more and more decanter centrifuges due to the excellent performances of them. So it’s quite important for operators to know some repair knowledge to maintain the decanter centrifuge in a good condition.
As we all know, if we can take care of the decanter centrifuge carefully, and when we use it for working, follow the working principles strictly when it’s working.After using the decanter centrifuge, the workers do some regular maintenance according the operation manual. It’s sure the life ot decanter centrifuge can be prolonged and extended. In order to avoid any rust or dust to fall into the inner of the drilling centrifuge, workers should certainly mop the external of the machine to make sure it is dry and clean. Secondly, during our daily use, the decanter centrifuge’s conveyor and conveying belt are very easy to be loose , so it need to be frequently checked up and to be exchanged if they are do not work well. We should also check the easily wearing parts of the machine and the operating situation of the electric system of the machine and attach great importance to the battery system regularly.

We all know in order to have a very high level of concentricity between the Differential mechanism and the main body of the decanter centrifuge. We must be very careful when the decanter centrifuge machine is installed at the work site. To make sure and guarantee the necessary shaking when decanter centrifuge is operating, if the connection between the two parts of a machine, than a cooper chip should be put between the the conveying belt and differential mechanism.
Due to assorted reasons, the machine cannot work as well as the beginning, this phenomenon cannot be avoided. We will need to do an overhaul of the machine after some working time of a decanter centrifuge machine.

GN Vertical Cuttings Dryer

Vertical Cuttings Dryers are generally used to reduce the amount cuttings discharge from water based mud (WBM), oil based mud (OBM) or synthetic based mud (SBM). Right now, as people pay much more attention to environment protection, the cuttings dryer are used more frequently. 
There’s another important reason, according to research, 1 to 4 barrels of clean drilling liquids can be also be recycled when 1 barrel of drill cuttings are separated by solids control equipment, which means using vertical cuttings dryer is very cost-effective in the long run.
Depend on different situation, we can choose a screw conveyor or a vacuum device to transport the drilling fluids to the vertical cuttings dryer. In the daily use, it’s quite common that a vertical cuttings dryer is equipped with a screw conveyor.
GN Vertical Cuttings Dryer uses centrifugal force to dry drilled solids from oil or synthetic base fluids. The drying efficiency can be reached to less than 5%

From the above picture, we can see clear about the workflow: Drilling mud from rig enter into shale shaker(1),mud cleaner(2).After treating by these two steps, the drilling cuttings enter into vertical cuttings dryer by auger conveyor(3). Solids enter the Vertical Cuttings Dryer (4) through the top feed inlet and are separated inside the Dryer. The clean solids exit the bottom of the Dryer and are discarded overboard (5) or collected in Cuttings Boxes for offsite transport and disposal. The recovered liquid is routed to a Liquid Collection Tank (7). The recovered liquid is conveyed by screw pump (8) and then processed through a decanting centrifuge (10) for final clarification, storage, and reuse (11).

The drilling fluids from vertical cuttings dryer contain a percentage of low gravity fine solids. Before the mud is discharged to the active system, it should be treated by a high speed centrifuge. However, this may not be necessary in all conditions.
