GN Hi-G Shale Shaker and GN Vertical Cuttings Dryer for Shell
GN Solids Control has provided many sets of solids control equipments and drilling waste management systems to worldwide clients. These years GN has gained many successful experiences in drill cuttings managements systems.
Take one tailored set of drill cuttings managements systems for Shell as an example. This system is combined with one shale shaker in linear motion and vertical cuttings dryer work under vertical G force. For this cuttings management system, it can move in the linear motion and vertical motion.

This system mainly including:
1. GN Cutting Dryer
GN930C-VFD can treat drilling waste 30 T/H to 50 T/H, the effective treating capacity is around 35 T/H. Rotating speed is adjustable with 900 RPM. Now GN cuttings dryer is the only one in China can handle OBM and WBM at the same time. GN cuttings dryer can handle with synthetic base mud. Now GN Solids Control manufactures about 60 sets of cuttings dryer every year.
2. GN shale shaker
GNZS594HGE-LD shale shaker is especially designed for drying cuttings. The vibration G force is upto 8 G when working.
3. GN mud tank and pumps
Here we use two mud tanks, the shale shaker and cuttings dryer can be fixed in these two mud tanks separately. There are some other auxiliary parts such as feed pump and flush pump.
The working process of this system:
All the drilling cuttings must be separated by shale shaker in advance, then these solids will be transferred by screw conveyor to GN cuttings dryer. By using GN cuttings dryer, most of the fluids will be separated out. The screen opening of our cuttings dryer is about 0.25mm to 5mm. Then the fluids will be feed to GN H-G shale shaker, here it will make the further drying work.

Sometimes, the drilling fluids can be sent to GN H-G shale shaker directly without the vertical cuttings dryer. However, in order to reuse the drilling fluids, all of the above fluids from vertical cutting dryer or H-G shale shaker must be treated by GN decanter centrifuge. Only in this way, we can get separated the solids that larger than 5 microns.
